    There are two bedrooms: one with a four poster double bed with an ensuite with bath, and the other with a queen-sized bed with an ensuite walk in shower.

    Each room is furnished with fresh towels, bed sheets, and soft bed linens. Extra pillows and blankets are available for added comfort, ensuring a restful stay.

  • Dining

    The kitchen is a fully equipped space where guests can cook their own meals, featuring a fridge, microwave, cooker, and oven.

    Essentials like pots, pans, oil, salt, and pepper are provided, along with a complete set of dishes and cutlery. A dishwasher simplifies cleanup, while a coffee maker offers a convenient option for morning brews.

  • Living

    The living room, an ideal space for relaxation and quality time. offers a garden view through French doors and warmth from a woodburner, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

    With two comfy sofas and a television and DVD player, it’s perfect for unwinding.

  • Guests have their own terrace with two tables and chairs for both.

  • The orchard is nearby and fruit picking is allowed in Season.

  • Parking is opposite the front door to the cottage.

  • 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome at the cottage. Bedding for the dogs and food is not provided.

  • Welcome pack on arrival.

  • Key safe at property to allow for late check-in.

  • There isn’t much space inside if you have younger children

  • You do need to supervise non-swimming children outside because there are ponds

  • You’re close to the owner when they are home.

Claydon is a small farming community with a beautiful 12th century Norman church. The neighbouring village of Cropedy has 2 pubs, a small shop and is also home to the popular Fairport convention. The cottage is also within walking distance of the Grand Union Canal (10 minutes).

The area around Banbury in the UK offers a charming mix of history, scenic countryside, and cultural experiences. Known for its iconic "Banbury Cross," the town has a rich history reflected in its historic architecture and markets. Nearby, the rolling Cotswold Hills provide picturesque walking and cycling trails, ideal for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
